The Parkland Kinsmen and Kinettes Club are hosting a Trivia Night at the Mortlach Memorial Hall, this weekend.

“We decided we needed to try and give people an escape from the winter blues,” says Parkland Kinsmen and Kinettes Club member, Ryan Branvold. “We’re having our Trivia Night on February 4th at the Mortlach [Memorial] Hall. It’s for [ages] 19 and up, and there's going to be all sorts of appetizers, [like] burnt ends right off the smoker, deep fried pickles, curly fries, wings... And we’ve actually got ourselves a keg of beer, along with all the regular beverages.”

The night kicks off with drinks and appetizers at 6 pm and then trivia at 7 pm.

“There’s going to be four rounds of questions, 10 questions per round,” says Branvold. “There will be small prizes for the winners of each round... It’s just an event for people to get out, relax, socialize, and try something different if they’ve never done trivia before.”

Admission is $5 per person or $20 for a table of up to eight people.

“It would be ideal if people could text us and let us know how many are coming, so we have a better idea of how many we’re going to feed,” Branvold added.
