Two weeks after its closure on August 3rd, the Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool will be reopening.

The City of Moose Jaw closed the pool before the August long weekend due to a power issue after a conductor broke at the Natatorium.

The tentative plan was to reopen the pool Thursday, but crews still need to remove chlorine residue from the bottom of the pool, clean the pool basin and perform minor maintenance on other parts of the Natatorium.

All clarity and quality testing has been completed to make sure the water is safe for swimmers, meaning the summer fun can continue when the pool opens at 11:30 am on Friday.
