A head-on collision north of Lloydminster killed one person just before midnight Saturday night.
On Highway 17, a northbound vehicle crossed the centre line and struck a southbound truck. The driver of the truck, a 22-year-old male, died as a result. The passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the northbound vehicle has been charged with Dangerous Driving causing Death, Dangerous Driving causing Bodily Harm and several Provincial Driving offences.

On Saturday afternoon east of Regina, near White City, there was another serious crash on the Trans-Canada highway.
At the intersection of Grear Plains Road and Highway 1, a motorcycle collided with an SUV.
The adult male on the motorcycle was taken to hosptial with serious injuries.
A passenger in the SUV was also sent to hospital.
