Nominations are now being taken for the Moose Jaw Citizen and Group of the Year Awards, presented by the Moose Jaw and District Chamber of Commerce, CAE and Golden West Radio. 

The awards recognized private citizens and groups that have made significant contributions to the city’s quality of life, both socially and economically. The main focus of the awards is for efforts made during the calendar year of 2023. 

The awards also raised public awareness of the contributions made and celebrate those individuals. 

The deadline for nominations is Jan. 19. You can find the nomination forms here. 

The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony on Feb. 6 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Events Centre Founders Lounge. Pre-registration is required, and tickets are $15 per person. 

The winners will also be announced during the intermission at the Moose Jaw Warriors game against the Edmonton Oil Kings that evening.
