The province reported 89 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, along with 111 recoveries, and no new deaths. 

There are 101 people in hospital, 21 people are in intensive care.

The South Central Zone is reporting 11 new cases, Saskatoon is reporting 20  new cases, Regina is reporting 12 new cases, The Far North East Zone is reporting 13 new cases, The North West Zone is reporting nine new cases, the North Central Zone is reporting six new cases, the Central East Zone is reporting five new cases, the South East Zone is reporting five new cases, the Far North West is reporting four new cases, the North East Zone is reporting two new cases and the Central West Zone is reporting one new case. 

1,292 cases are considered active in the province and 93 of the active cases are located in the 'south central 2 subzone' that includes Moose Jaw and the surrounding area. 

 

Vaccines Reported

An additional 15,633 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 770,463. 

The 15,633 doses of COVID-19 vaccine reported today were administered to residents living in the following zones: Far North West, 301; Far North Central, 4; Far North East, 253; North West, 358; North Central, 889; North East, 439; Saskatoon, 4,446; Central West, 351; Central East, 1,041; Regina, 4,632; South West, 551; South Central, 877; and South East, 1,185.  There were 306 doses administered with zone of residence pending.

Seventy-seven per cent of those over the age of 40 have received their first dose.  Seventy-two per cent of those 30+ have received their first dose.  Sixty-seven per cent of those 18+ have received their first dose, while 64 per cent of those 12+ have also received their first dose.
