The provincial Labour Relations Board has a new vice-chair, as Barbara Mysko has been appointed.

She replaces Justice Graeme Mitchell, who had been appointed to the Court of Queen’s Bench in Sept. 2018.

“Her extensive knowledge of constitutional law, human rights law and government processes and her active involvement with the Law Society of Saskatchewan enable her to consider issues brought to the board with fairness and neutrality,” said Labour Relations and Workplace Safety Minister Don Morgan.

After being called to the bar in 2007, Mysko worked as Crown Counsel at the Ministry of Justice in Civil Law and then the Constitutional Law Branch in 2011.

The Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board is a quasi-judicial tribunal adjdicating disputes under the provincial employment act and deals with applications for union certification and decertification.
