I've heard from people in other towns and cities who find it amusing - all the talk and controversy about garbage in Moose Jaw.

First, we had our share of trouble transitioning to the new plastic bins and now the resistance continues to roll those bins out to the front curb every two weeks.  Many locals don't find this amusing at all and City Hall has heard from you.  That's why we're in the middle of conducting a telephone poll.

I see a local woman in my neighbourhood took the time to answer the survey questions yesterday.  She wonders if City Hall will listen to the results.

She is NOT in favour of curbside collection.  She says "Garbage belongs in the alley."

Another local woman is angered by "the sticker" she found on her bin.  She left it out front for over 24 hours after the trash was picked up.  The sticker tells her she must move that bin back to her property or face "collection services being suspended, cart removal and/or...fines for the property."

You know what?  I'm going to predict a move back to back alley collection.  Time will tell.
