It was a scorching day in Moose Jaw on Sunday as the city nearly broke a weather record. 

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, Moose Jaw was Canada’s hot spot with temperatures reaching 32.5 degrees. 

Moose Jaw was just shy of a record. The record high for Sept. 17 is 33.6 which was set in 2009. The second hottest year was in 2000 at 32.6.
