Miss Canada Globe will be kicking off in August and Moose Jaw will have a representative at the event.

23-year old Tristan Johnson-England will be competing in the pageant as she's entered to be a contestant in the upcoming competition.

Before she takes the stage and vyes for the title of 2019 Miss Canada Globe Johnson-England will need the community's support during the voting portion of the event.

"Later when the competition happens there's going to be an online vote, people basically just put a vote in for me and that will help me with one of the parts of the competition," Added Johnson-England. "Currently I'm a grade 12 student attending Saskatchewan Polytechnic here in Moose Jaw, I'm collecting hours here at a shop in town for auto-body, I'd eventually like to go for my journeyman test. I'm a volunteer officer with the Navy league here in Moose Jaw".

Johnson-England started this journey three years ago when she applied to be part of Miss Canada Globe. She will be putting in volunteer hours leading up to the event and attempting to get sponsors on the way.

"It would basically be myself going out into the community and giving out some volunteer time," she said.

The 2019 Miss Canada Globe pageant will take place in the summer in Toronto, Canada.
