It's raining cats and kittens at the Moose Jaw Humane Society, with over 70 felines up for adoption.

With the warm weather continuing into the fall, the kitten season is dragging on and fall kittens need a bit more help than spring and summer kittens.

This means more formula, medication and cat food for the shelter to provide.

Dana Haukass, Executive Director of the Moose Jaw Humane Society says it's been difficult for the staff.

"It's impossible for the staff to do a great job with cleaning and showering those babies with love," says Haukass.

If you are looking to make an addition to your family, consider stopping by the shelter.

"If you could open your hearts and homes to some kittens or some orphaned kittens that just need a few weeks of extra love and attention, we would be ever so grateful," says Haukass.

If you are unable to adopt or foster any cats or kittens, donations are greatly appreciated as well.

"We can put that money towards buying formula, cat food and medications."
