Some High School Junior Boys Volleyball League action on Monday night at two schools in the city as Vanier and Cornerstone hosted two teams each for a set of games.
At Vanier, Peacock was the big winner, taking both their matches over Vanier and Craik. They knocked off Craik, 25-16 and 25-22, to start the night.
Vanier and Craik battled next with the Vikings taking the first set, 25-23, before Craik battled back with two straight wins, 25-15 and 17-15.
The Vikings fell again to Peacock to end the night, this one going in straight sets. The Toilers won 25-17 in the first set and then took them out 25-22 in the final set.
Over at Cornerstone, Central Butte was doing all the winning, taking out both Central and Cornerstone in back-to-back games.
Central Butte won, 25-18 and 25-18, in straight sets over Central and then beat Cornerstone, 25-20 and 25-14.
Central beat Cornerstone in three sets to end the night, 25-18, 22-25 and 15-11, meaning both home teams went winless.
The Junior Volleyball League is back on the court on Wednesday with the Girls League at Central and the Boys at Peacock and Cornerstone.
