Four games hit the court on Monday night in the Moose Jaw High School Junior Basketball League.

In an all-Peacock battle in the boys division, the Green Toilers secured a 51-42 victory over the Orange Toilers on Monday.

Adam Blatchford led the charge for Peacock Green with 11 points in the win, while Devin Baumann and Rylan Eirich-Watson picked up 10 points each as they improved their record to 4-2 on the junior boys league.

Quinn Ingalls scored a game-high 16 points in the loss for Peacock Orange, who fell to 0-4 in the junior varsity league.

In the girls league on Monday, the Peacock Toilers improved their record to 6-0 thanks to an 82-45 win over the Vanier Spirits, who fell to 3-3.

Sadie Ward had 18 points in the win for Peacock, while Eden Gusa chipped in with 13 and Caitlyn Johnson scored 12. 

Vanier’s top scorer was Jewellyn McDonald, who picked up 11 points in the loss.

Also, the Cornerstone Falcons travelled to Assiniboia and picked up a 52-28 win over the Assiniboia Rockets. The Falcons are a perfect 5-0 this season, while Assiniboia falls to 0-6.

The boys game between Assiniboia and Central Butte was postponed until Feb. 13, while there was no score reported from the all-Central game between the Gold Cyclones and Red Cyclones.
