UPDATE:

The Moose Jaw Fire Department, Moose Jaw Police Service, and Moose Jaw EMS responded to a house fire on the 700 block of Hochelaga Street East at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

The MJFD presence included 3 apparatuses, along with 10 firefighters responding.

Smoke and flames were seen on MJFD arrival and knock down crews successfully contained the fire to the single family residential structure.

"We had a very quick knock down. Crews did a great job knocking it down fast, containing it to the building of origin, as well as protecting the exposure to the east of the building on fire," said Mike Russell, deputy chief with the Moose Jaw Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and there were no injuries reported. No dollar value of the damage has been determined at this time.
