Moose Jaw's Libby Epoch and the Saskatchewan Huskies went into enemy territory and came away with a three-point win at a jam-paced Centre for Kinesiology, Heath and Sport on Saturday.

The 74-71 win for the Huskies over the rival Regina Cougars on Saturday night sends them into Sunday’s U Sports Women’s Basketball National Title Game in Regina.

Epoch, who is a Peacock Collegiate graduate, had 13 points, five assists and two rebounds in the semifinal victory.

Sabine Dukate led the Huskies with 20 points, while Megan Lindquist added 15. Kyanna Giles was the Cougars' top scorer with a game-high 27 points.

The Huskies will now meet up with the top-ranked Carleton Ravens, who edged McGill, 46-44, in the other semifinal on Saturday.  The national championship game goes on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. in Regina.
