They were outshot significantly, but the Moose Jaw Midget AAA Warriors won 3-2 in overtime over the Saskatoon Contacts in Game 1 of their semifinal playoff series Sunday afternoon in Saskatoon.

Captain Atley Calvert scored both the game tying and overtime winner in the game. Connor McGrath scored the other Warriros goal, while Chase Coward stopped 41 shots in the Warriors' net. 

The Warriors were outshot 43-26 in the game. 

Game two goes Monday night at Mosaic Place. Puck drops at 7.
