He has been a fixture in downtown Moose Jaw for decades.  In fact, he is Saskatchewan's longest-serving lawyer of all time, having been in practice for 66 years.

Just a few days ago, at the age of 91, Lyle O. Phillips officially retired.

He first made a name for himself as a hockey player back in the good old days, playing at the university level at Michigan and with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.  His stats from those teams aren't available but we did find his numbers from his 4 years of professional hockey in the old International Hockey League.
