Phase 3 of the Re-open Saskatchewan Plan begins today, and as part of that plan bars and restaurants are allowed to re-open with some restrictions in place.

The Park Hotel is one of the businesses that will be opening up again.

Larry Langlois is the owner of the bar.

"We are opening Monday Morning at 9:30 sterilized and ready to go. We think it's going to be really busy, we have a lot of customers that are just chomping at the bit to get back in here and see their friends and catch up with all the craziness that's been going on and that's what we honestly think is going to happen. It's going to be busy."

Langlois also described how his staff are feeling about re-opening.

"We laid off probably seven people from the bar and we're bringing them all back and they are all anxious and excited to get back here and see their customers. They look at those customers like they are their friends as well so my staff are excited."

Langlois also added that being the biggest bar in Moose Jaw has the advantage of being able to spread people out in the bar better.
