There'll be some slipping and sliding going on around southern Saskatchewan to end the week as pavement frost has blanketed local roads and highways.  At one point Friday morning, it was so thick that it looked like snow, making for some rather icy conditions.

But there's a chance it could get event worse. The new forecast is calling for scattered flurries Friday morning with a chance of showers in the afternoon as things warm up.

The warmer conditions are expected to last through Saturday and then another batch of cold air will move in, taking us down to -12 for a high Sunday, then -21 for a high on Monday.
