Hunger in Moose Jaw is jumping into the fall season with a wide variety of events.

Coming up on September 10th is their annual Fall into Fabric sale.

"Running between 9 and 2 at Zion Church," says Sharla Sept, the Executive Director of Hunger in Moose Jaw.

"(There will be) all sorts of different fabrics, craft items, sewing machines, and other notions."

100 per cent of the proceeds go back to Hunger in Moose Jaw programming.

If you'd like more information or to submit donation for the sale call Hunger in Moose Jaw at 306-692-1916 or on their Facebook page. Donations can be dropped off at Hunger in Moose Jaw at 296 Stadacona St. west.

Not long after will be their annual Pumpkin Festival on September 24th.

It's happening at the gardens at 1000 Grey Ave from 9 am to 2 pm.

"We will be doing our annual chili and we will be selling our pumpkins, and garden produce and then we'll have activities for kids. It's just a great family event," says Sept.

All of the proceeds will go back to Hunger in Moose Jaw's programming.

They offer a wide variety of programming including lunch programs in school in the city, as well as community kitchens, a junior chef program, a youth cooking class program, good food box program, their gardens, and their head start preschool.

You can find more information on their programming on their website.
