The southern half of Saskatchewan, including Moose Jaw, is under a special weather advisory warning that strong winds, rain, and snow are on the way over the next 48 hours.

A low-pressure system will be bringing strong winds gusting up 80km/hr. overnight Sunday, before increasing to 90km/hr-100km/hr. into Monday. Moderate to heavy flurries will also start Monday morning, with the potential of freezing rain.

The storm is expected to last through to Tuesday morning.

If you need to travel Monday, keep an eye on the Highway Hotline and be prepared for low visibility and possible icy conditions.
