It was a warm one this weekend in the Friendly City as we reached the low 30's Saturday and Sunday but it felt closer to 40 degrees at times thanks to the humidex causing that sticky, uncomfortable feeling, making the daytime high Sunday feel more like 37 degrees at times.

More warm weather is expected this week with highs around 30 degrees right through to Friday.

There was some good news on the weather front Sunday as a thunderstorm rolled in. Around 8 o'clock Sunday night the skies opened up releasing a few millimeters of rain on the Friendly City but a far cry from the moisture local farmers have been asking for.

There is another chance of thundershowers Monday evening as we expect to hit the low 30's once again for the afternoon.
