It's finished for another year and it was capped off with the "grand prize draw" Tuesday morning on the 800 CHAB Morning Show with Craig Hemingway and Rob Carnie.

The 800 CHAB GRAIN RUSH wrapped up and Cam Durfey from Parrish and Heimbecker joined the morning show for the grand prize draw and talked to Craig and Rob about what has been a wonderful harvest season in our area, "Things are going real well and the quality is looking real good.  The quality is a lot better then we anticipated a month ago before we got this second summer so it's been good."

Durfey says this recent heat wave was very important for the crops, "It was paramount.  There was no way we could have gotten this crop off without it, this brought this crop in and when it comes to quality it's every bit as good as last year.  I'd say about over 90 percent of it's grading number one in the Moose Jaw area."

Congratulations to Lyle Wilson from Assiniboia who took home the Grain Rush grand prize of a $1,500 glyphosate package from Parrish and Heimbecker and thanks to all who entered to win the 800 CHAB Grain Rush.
