NHL, WHL and SJHL players from across Saskatchewan will be coming together on Thursday night at Mosaic Place for the Moose Jaw Generals’ Benefit Game in honour of Evan Thomas.

Thomas was one of 16 people that died earlier this month in the Humboldt Broncos’ bus crash.

The benefit game has been organized by Thomas' former teammates Chantz Petruic and Ahmed Ally of Moose Jaw with help from Generals head coach Ray Wareham. The game will feature over 35 current and former Generals like Vancouver Canucks defenceman Derrick Pouliot and many more.

Admission is by donation, there will also be a 50/50, jersey auctions and much more with all the proceeds going to the Humboldt Broncos.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
