Record lows were being re-written all over the province yesterday as arctic temperatures had an icy grip on Saskatchewan.

Thirteen record lows were set with Mankota dropping all the way down to -33 and that was without the windchill. Assiniboia hit a new record low of -27.6, breaking the old record by nearly 4 degrees. Here in Moose Jaw we saw -27 but the record from 1896 still stands at -36.

We'll have to continue to bundle up for a couple days before that warming trend moves into Saskatchewan. The warm up has now been delayed until the weekend.
