Former Moose Jaw Warrior Jack Rodewald played a key role in winning the Czech Extraliga championship this week. 

Rodewald joined HC Ocelara Trinec part way through this season, and he scored two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win that clinched the championship in the Czech Republic's top professional hockey league.  

Rodewald and Trinec won the best of 7 championship series 4 games to 1. 

Rodewald put up five goals and 15 points in 22 regular-season games for Trinec, before collecting six goals and nine points in 16 playoff games. 

A native of Winnipeg, Rodewald played with the Regina Pats before thriving with the Moose Jaw Warriors, scoring 35 goals and 85 points in his final WHL season back in 2014-2015.
