Tickets are going fast for the Moose Jaw Firefighter Association's Halloween Costume Party.

The event is taking place October 29 at the Masonic Temple located at 1755 Main Street North.

Firefighter/paramedic Paul Busse says the event is usually a sell out.

"The hall is going to be decorated top to bottom. We have a couple great local bands coming in. Light show, smoke machine, great prizes. The Shriners are going be running the bar here this year so they're going to be in attendance raising money for themselves as well too. It's going to be a good event."

Busse notes there will be food, a 50/50 draw, raffle prizes and prizes for best costume.

"We've seen some pretty amazing costumes over the years. Everybody that attends is usually dressed up to the nines," he added.

Tickets are $20 and can be bought at Moose Jaw Toyota and John's Music.

The party starts at 8pm.

All proceeds are going to support Heartland Hospice in Moose Jaw. The money will be used to support their capital campaign for enhancing palliative care services in Moose Jaw.
