The cause of a house fire that occurred on Chestnut Avenue Wednesday night remains under investigation.

The Moose Jaw Fire Department was called out to the blaze just before 6:30 p.m. last night.

Fire Chief Rod Montgomery says firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic.

"We responded with two pumper trucks and the tower. The fire was out shortly thereafter so the crews did a real good job. SaskPower was called out, they did look at the unit. I believe they shut the power off to the house."

Montgomery says there were no injuries.
