The Drought Disaster Committee is fed up with getting the run around from the provincial government after being promised action last year.

Frustration is growing over the lack of action and the Drought Disaster Committee is stepping things up again.

The group is encouraging everyone to get involved in Monday's rally at 1PM on the steps of the provincial legislature

Doug Davidson says they just want to be treated fairly. "We live in Saskatchewan just like the people that were flooded out. We certainly understand their situation and support them but we're in a situation where we have a crisis now and this is becoming a discriminatory situation now. We haven't even been able to meet with the Ag Review Committee and the Minister of Agriculture promised to deal with us directly and now we're at the stage where, again we have to go to the Legislature."

The group is calling for a $25 acreage based payment for drought affected producers in 23 RM's in Saskatchewan.
