A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada for Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

A low-pressure system is moving its way over southern Saskatchewan that could bring severe weather this evening.
