A group of graduating dancers are organizing and bringing back an annual fundraiser that will see children of all ages participate in a day full of dancing, activities and fun.

Dance Images by BJ will be hosting their Kids Helping Kids fundraiser this Sunday.

Dance Instructor Shauna Bzdel explains the premise of the fundraiser.

"Kids Helping Kids is an event we've been hosting now for 7 years, and it is organized by all of our oldest dancers at the studio in our senior class. Its an all-day dance-a-thon from about 9:30 am-4 pm, and our senior dancers organize the whole event with support from our staff at the studio."

"Over the last 6 years, we've actually been able to raise over $68,000. It's going to be a wonderful day so I hope that we have a lot of community support. As a local based business, we feel its really important to always find ways to give back to our community, so this event is just one of those ways."

People can help out by contacting the studio to make a donation, or they can go to their website. Bzdel says every little bit helps.

"All of the proceeds go to an organization called Creative Kids which ends up giving money back to families that would be unable to have their kids involved in the arts and things like dancing. This [Kids Helping Kids] is happening on Sunday, October 27, so it's coming up very quickly!"

All are welcome to stop by Dance Images by BJ this Sunday to watch and take part in the fun.
