Imagine you're working away at your business - in this case making cheese - and a car comes crashing through your wall. That was the case for Kirby Froese yesterday, owner of Coteau Hills Creamery in Moose Jaw.

Froese says the car opened the side of his creamery and pushed the building off the foundation. Moose Jaw Police say the driver of the vehicle suffered medical distress while driving and lost control, sending the vehicle into the building on Highland Road.

Froese detailed the accident which occurred around 2:30 pm:

"I was just a few feet away on the inside of the building. The damage was to the southwest corner; there was extensive damage to the car. The driver was OK, she was pretty confused and shaken up obviously. The building itself, the south wall was pushed about 5 feet off the foundation."

He continued to say his biggest concern out of the whole accident was the woman behind the wheel.

"I'm really happy that the driver was able to get out of the car on her own, and she was able to get in to the ambulance on her own. I'm really happy that nobody was hurt and that she's going to be OK. I'm just wishing her the best."

Police estimate the damage at $40,000. Kirby isn't sure if this will impact production or not, but he thinks the actual cheese-making area of his business will be OK. The question will be if he can receive milk, since it was his receiving area that was primarily damaged.
