Only two of the scheduled five games were able to get on the court in the Moose Jaw High School Senior Volleyball League on Tuesday night.

The Vanier Vikings and Spirits were scheduled to travel out to Caronport to take on the Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars, but those games have been postponed to Oct. 29.

The Cornerstone Falcons’ boys team had their game against the Eagles in Avonlea moved to Thursday.

In the action that did get on the court, the Central Cyclones topped the Peacock Toilers in four sets (22-25, 25-14, 26-24, 25-18) in the boys game. The win improves Central’s record to 3-2, while Peacock falls to 2-3 with the loss.

The Peacock Toilers came away with a three-set win (25-19, 25-15, 25-12) in the girls game. Peacock remains perfect on the season at 5-0, while Central drops to 1-4.

The next league action is coming up on Thursday when Cornerstone and Avonlea meet in their make-up game for the lone boys' action. There are two girls games as Vanier hosts Central and Peacock faces Cornerstone. All three games hit the court at 7 p.m.
