Central captured their 3rd consecutive boys' 4A Provincial Championship over the weekend. Wins over Regina Johnson in the semi-finals 100-57 and Saskatoon Marion Graham in the final 95-68

With a little more adversity this season, the Cyclones managed to put together a pretty good campaign.

Our only losses were to 5A schools and some big-name 5A schools at that. The team really dug in and worked hard through the middle part of the season. Central didn't take time off over the breaks, we continued to grind. The extra work paid off as we played some of our best basketball at HOOPLA.

Three consecutive HOOPLA Championships is not an easy task. This spans over 5 years and a wide range of students as COVID-19 put a stop to HOOPLA for two seasons. This speaks volumes to the program, the school, and the athletes that choose to come to Central to play basketball.

I couldn't be prouder of a great group of young men and look forward to what the future brings.
