The Conservative Party of Canada swept Saskatchewan - winning all 14 seats in our province.

Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party will form another minority government.  It's status quo.  So, why?  Why did Canada spend the time and money on this snap election?  That's what Canadians coast-to-coast are asking on social media today.

Conservative Andrew Scheer, re-elected in Regina-Qu'Appelle, told reporters last night the election was a "vanity project".

Don Martin, columnist for CTV.ca on Twitter last night, wrote, "...there won't be any majority for Justin Trudeau tonight.  Nothing to show for this $600 million contrived excuse for a pandemic election."

There's a local man on the CHAB Facebook page who believes the millions of dollars spent on the election would have been better spent on healthcare and education.  You can't disagree with that, can you?

You know, I consider myself a proud Canadian but I'm just not feeling it today.
