A brief escape and flight in a stolen vehicle has landed a prisoner in more hot water than he started.  26-year-old Cole Graver is now back behind bars after he fled the provincial court in Moose Jaw late Thursday morning.

Graver was to face charges for non-violent offences but was able to escape.  The K9 unit and a small army of officers scoured the area in the downtown core well into the afternoon.  An statement issued around 8pm Thursday explained Graver stole a vehicle and drove a few blocks away before being arrested.

He's now expected to face additional charges at his next court appearance. There has been no word on how he managed to escape.
