Did you hear Paul Martin's business commentary on the radio yesterday?  He talked about the definition of "rich" and referred to an article that concluded there's more to being rich than money and wealth.

He said having a job you love is an important element as well as a short commute to work - noting that adding 20 minutes to your commute is as depressing as taking a 19% pay cut.

I thought about those things yesterday as I lived my life in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.

After my shift yesterday I made the 7 minute commute to the house where I changed into short pants and a short-sleeved shirt.  I then took the casual drive downtown for a number of appointments.  Every one of them was right on time and the people pleasant.  I was able to conveniently park my vehicle close to each and every destination.

You've heard it said "you create your own life"?  Well, if you do that in Moose Jaw, your life is going to be pretty good.
