The Moose Jaw Humane Society’s 4 Paws Lottery is underway and tickets are already selling fast.

There were just over 2,000 tickets printed for this lottery, which usually sells out, and about one-third of those tickets have already been sold as of Friday.

“We did increase our tickets a little bit this year, so hopefully we can get more people in on the action,” said Moose Jaw Humane Society Executive Directory Dana Haukaas.

Tickets can be purchased for one for $20, three for $50 and five for $75. All of the money raised will be going back into the shelter and its operations.

“It goes to help us provide life-saving vaccines, any emergent care to any animals that come in, food, and of course the staff wages to make sure that everybody is well cared for,” Haukaas said.

There will be $500 cash draws taking place on July 11, 12, 13 and 14. The grand prize $10,000 draw takes place on July 15.

You can purchase your tickets online at www.mjhs.ca, by calling the shelter at 306-692-1517 or by e-transfer to giving@mjhs.ca.
