The 20th annual Business Excellence Awards (MJBEX) took over the Heritage Inn on Wednesday night for the first in-person ceremony in 3 years.  

The event was presented by WOW Factor Media and was supported by a dozen different sponsors including the Co-op, Conexus, CIBC, JGL and many more.  

Tickets were sold out with over 400 people in attendance.  

15 different awards were given out to various local organizations and companies.  

The winner of the Agricultural and Agri-Business Excellence Award sponsored by Farm Credit Canada is Twin View Livestock.  

The winner of the Business Innovation Award sponsored by the JGL Group is MemoryKPR.  

The winner of the Community Involvement Award sponsored by Jones Parkview Funeral Services is Carly Jaye Art.  

The winner of the Environmental Steward Award sponsored by Scotiabank is Leeville Construction Ltd.  

The winner of the Impact Award sponsored by Blue Whale Financial Solutions is Wakamow Valley Authority.  

The winner of the Job Creation Award sponsored by Saskatchewan Polytechnic is Cranberry Collective Boutique.  

The winner of the Marketing Award sponsored by Murray GM is Nebulus Entertainment.  

The winner of the New Business Award Sasktel is Modern Mattress. 

The winner of the Newcomer Entrepreneur Award Conexus Credit Union is Gina Jewelry International Inc.  

The winner of the Pillar of the Community Award sponsored by the Moose Jaw Co-op Association is Seaborn Insurance Ltd.  

The winner of the Service Excellence Award sponsored by CIBC is Bootleg Barbers.  

The winner of the Young Entrepreneur Award sponsored by Community Futures South Central is Moose Movers.

The winner of the Business Leader of the Year Award sponsored by Purposed Financial Association is Angela Sereda.

The night ended in loud applause and standing ovations after the award presentations and a hearty meal and cocktails.
