Moose Jaw Police responded to 39 calls for service.  

8:34 am – Dispute – An altercation took place between family members. Police attended and mediated the situation. 

9:18 am – Fraud/Other – A caller was a victim of a Kijiji scam. This is still under investigation. 

10:04 am – Weapons Call – There was a report of what appeared to a firearm. Police attended and it was not a firearm but a lighter. 

11:58 am – Traffic Bylaw – A complaint was made of numerous semi-trucks in the parking lane. This was grain trucks waiting in line to dump their grain. Nothing was illegal about the trucks being lined up. 

12:41 pm – Dispute – A verbal altercation took place between two family members. Police attended and mediated the situation. 

2:48 pm – Theft Under – There was a report of funds missing from a bank account. It was determined to be actually cash lost from a wallet. Reported for informational purposes. 

2:53 pm – Fraud/Cheque – There was a report of numerous personal cheques that had been cashed from a bank account. This is still under investigation. 

3:06 pm – Parking Bylaw – There was a complaint about large trucks that are parked and obstructing the view of traffic. The owner was spoken to and was to move the truck. 

4:34 pm – A physical altercation between two parties was reported. One person was in custody. 

5:38 pm – Driving Dangerous – A vehicle that was speeding and all over the highway was called in by RCMP. 

6:08 pm – Theft Under – there was a report of a stolen license plate. 

6:15 pm – Harassing Communications – Unwanted text messages were being sent from an individual. Police spoke to the caller and provided options. 

8:42 pm – Unwanted Guest – An individual was bothering customers for money outside of a business. Police attended and the individual was gone from the area. 

11:42 pm – Driving Impaired – There was a report of a possibly impaired driver. Patrols were made of the area and the vehicle was not located. 

5:20 am – Hit and Run – There was a report of a vehicle that hit a parked car and left the scene of the accident. One vehicle was seized by Police. This is still under investigation. 

Police responded to seven 911 calls. 
Police executed one warrant. 
Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
