The Saskatchewan Dragoons and all army reservist units in the middle part of Canada now have a new Commanding Officer.

 

The Saskatchewan Dragoons and all army reservist units in the middle of Canada have a new Commanding Officer today.

The 38th Brigade, of which the Saskatchewan Dragoons are part of, welcomed Colonel Robert Poirier as their new commander this weekend. First on the to due list for Colonel Poirier is to start recruiting soldiers to send to Afghanistan later this year. The plan is to send 160 soldiers from 38th Brigade.

The 38th Brigade includes all army reservist units from Thunder Bay, Ontario to the Saskatchewan/Alberta border.
