Prospera Centre has been an economic catalyst for the British Columbia community and is being examined as a possible business model for Moose Jaw.

While here in Moose Jaw we wait and hope that a multiplex is built, the folks in Chilliwack, BC are already enjoying a multi-million dollar, start of the art facility that is helping to grow their community.

Chilliwack was recently awarded the newest Western Hockey League franchise, the Bruins.

We spoke with Chilliwack Manager of Civic Facilities Ryan Mulligan and asked what the new facility has done for the community. "Businesses are coming to Chilliwack. Because of the facility there is some real great support and a much higher profile for the City of Chilliwack and the community as a whole. I think everybody sees the potential for growth and that they want to get in here before it gets too expensive or they aren't able to get in."

The community is growing so fast, our company Golden West Radio, is exploring the idea of opening a radio station in Chilliwack and has already applied for a license.
