It'll mean $ millions of dollars in spin-off for the cities of Moose Jaw and Saskatoon and it's likely there will be a stop or two in Davidson as well.

The Moose Jaw Warriors and Saskatoon Blades have advanced to the Western Hockey League's Eastern Conference Championship Final. It'll start this weekend at Saskatoon's SaskTel Centre and continue next week at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.

Both clubs are expecting big crowds. SaskTel Centre can hold 14,750 fans for hockey while the Warriors can jam about 5000 into their arena, including standing room patrons.

You know, the Blades have been around since 1964 and the Warriors franchise moved from Winnipeg to Moose Jaw in 1984 and neither one of these clubs has won a Western Hockey League championship! That's a combined 100 years of hockey without a championship. Remarkable to say the least.

These two teams are a lot of fun to watch. A number of players on both teams are blue chip NHL prospects.

Tickets for this upcoming best-of-seven are on sale today.

I'd advise you to get them today to avoid disappointment.
