Moose Jaw Police responded to 52 calls for service.


7:10 am – 1500 block Smith St – Assist Sick Person – Subject was transported to hospital.  Subject was also charged with flight from police and released for court at a later date.

8:10 am – 700 block Ominica St W – Theft from Vehicle – wallet and contents were taken from complainant’s unlocked vehicle.

9:21 am – 0 block Manitoba St W – Hit & Run – Approximately $800 worth of damage was done to the driver’s side mirror of complainant’s vehicle on June 24 when it was struck by another vehicle that then fled without exchanging contact information.  File remains under investigation.

10:17 am – 100 block Coteau St W – Mischief – Window sustained damage from a possible bb or pellet gun shot.  Police are still investigating.

10:49 am – Wood Lily Dr at Jasmine Court – Motor Vehicle Accident – Vehicle had to be towed after hitting a manhole cover. 

11:49 am – 0 block Fairford St E – Assist EMS – Subject was transported to hospital as a precautionary measure.

12:29 pm – 400 block Lillooet St W – Fraud – A fraudulent prescription was presented at a local business.  File is still under investigation.

4:50 pm – 1300 block 12th Ave SW – Collision – Vehicle collided with bicyclist resulting in minor injuries to the cyclist. Damage to vehicle is estimated at $1000.

5:13 pm – 500 block 1st Ave NW – Threats – Both parties were spoken to. Situation mediated. Both parties were warned regarding uttering threats.

6:36 pm – 1500 block Spadina St – Erratic driver   File is under investigation to speak with owner of vehicle.

7:45 pm – 1000 block Ross St E – Dispute – Alcohol fueled dispute was mediated.  One party left.

8:26 pm – 0 block Bluebell Cr – Assist sick person – Subject was transported to hospital.

9:23 pm – 400 block Oxford St E – Drug Possession – Subject was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a prohibited weapon, and breach of court order after a traffic stop.  The vehicle was also towed due to it being unregistered and the owner was issued a ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle.

3:19 am – 2200 block Caribou St W – Suspicious vehicles – Report was received of three vehicles parked by the road, all with their lights off.  A group of teens was spoken to and sent home.
