Moose Jaw Police responded to 51 calls for service.

8:33 am – Found Property – Property was turned in to police for destruction.

9:29 am – Hit & Run – A vehicle hit a building, causing approximately $4000 of damage; no plate or video was obtained.

9:55 am – Assault – An altercation occurred between two parties known to each other. One party was charged with assault, was detained in cells until sober and was released for court at a later date.

10:40 am – Theft –Theft of computer equipment occurred.  Police continue to investigate, and charges are pending for a suspect.

11:09 am – Found Property – A cell phone was found and returned to its owner.

11:37 am – Theft – This occurred between 5:00 pm Friday to 7:00 am Saturday; 4 rims with winter tires were taken.  Police continue to investigate.

12:08 pm – Unwanted Guest – A subject was refusing to leave.  The subject left upon police request.

12:10 pm – MVC – A two vehicle collision resulted in approximately $2000 of damage and one tow.

12:15 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was being driven by a suspended/impoundable driver.  The subject was charged and the vehicle was seized for 30 days.

12:28 pm – Unwanted Guest – A subject was refusing to leave.  The subject left upon police request.

2:25 pm – Break & Enter – A suspect entered through an open window, and miscellaneous property was taken.  Police are still investigating to locate and speak with the suspect.

4:00 pm – MVC – A two vehicle collision resulted in approximately $5000 of damage and one tow.

4:10 pm – Bicycle Theft – A matte black Manhattan Smoothie bicycle was taken, and the serial number was provided.  The bicycle is to be added to the database as stolen.

5:36 pm – Mischief – Sometime overnight suspects used a tool to attempt to pry open the driver’s side door of a vehicle, causing approximately $500 of damage.

5:28 pm – Assault – This occurred June 3. The suspect was known, this is still under investigation, and charges are pending.

7:21 pm – Break & Enter – A subject returned home to find their residence trashed and property missing.  Police continue to investigate.

8:20 pm – Fraud – Cheques were being signed without another party’s authorization.  Police are to speak with all parties involved.

8:51 pm – Dispute – A verbal dispute occurred over a dog; this was mediated upon police arrival.

11:29 pm – Suspicious Person/Vehicle – A vehicle got stuck in a sink hole when turning around. Police assisted with getting a tow truck.

Police responded to two parking bylaw infractions.
Police completed five curfew checks.
Police executed three warrants.
