Moose Jaw Police responded to 34 calls for service.

7:00 am –1500 block Main St N – Hit & Run – Sometime overnight damage was done to a vehicle’s driver back door panel. Approximately $2 000 of damage was done and police are still investigating to review the video.

8:16 am – 400 block Athabasca St E – Dispute – A complainant called in regards to someone that had stolen their clothing. Police were able to retrieve the items and return them to the owner.

9:52 am – 1200 block 4th Ave NE – Theft of Auto – A 2007 blue Dodge 3500 Sask plate 308INC was stolen sometime between midnight and the time of the call.

11:52 am – 1000 block 4th Ave NE – Threats – A complainant called in regards to their neighbour making threatening comments. Police advised the complainant to block the subject’s number.

12:29 pm – 9th Ave NE at Thatcher Dr E – Hit & Run – Two vehicles were involved, resulting in minor damage. One party drove off after the collision and was charged with failure to report.

12:52 pm – 400 block 1st Ave NW – Suspicious Person – A male was spotted on the roof of a building. Upon police arrival, the subject was already gone. A resident stated that there was a leak on the roof and it could be related to that.

1:07 pm – 1000 block Redland Ave – A 2012 white Honda Civic Sask plate 636KQG was stolen sometime between 8:00 pm and the time of the call.

1:57 pm – 800 block 9th Ave NW – Hit & Run – Damage was done to a vehicle’s diver side rear bumper. Approximately $2 000 of damage was done and police are still investigating to speak with the suspect.

3:26 pm – 0 block Fairford St W – Disturbance – A subject was hallucinating and paranoid. The subject was taken to hospital and was left in the care of staff.

3:40 pm – 700 block Main St N – Mischief – A subject was asked to leave an establishment and threw coffee on the complainant’s truck. The subject was located by police and stated that it was an accident. The situation was mediated.

5:13 pm – 0 block Fairford St W – Drug Possess – Drugs were found on a subject upon a search. The subject was charged with drug possession and a breach of court order.

5:33 pm – 1100 block Clifton Av – Break and Enter – Sometime overnight tools were taken from a garage. Items were found on a subject who was already in custody.

6:37 pm – 200 block Woodlily Dr – Suspicious Person – A suspicious person was spotted walking around an area for the past four hours. The subject was located and sent on their way.

6:44 pm – 0 block Brigham Rd – Vehicle Accident – One vehicle collided with a parked vehicle. One vehicle was towed, approximately $10 000 of damage was done, and one ticket was issued for undue care.

7:44 pm – Thatcher Dr W at Blue Sage Dr – Wellbeing Check – A complainant found a child running in the streets and brought them back to their parent’s residence. The complainant would now like a wellbeing check to be done on child. The parent was warned and a file is to be passed on to Social Services.

9:17 pm – Main St N at Manitoba St W – Erratic Driving – A complaint was made in regards to an erratic driver. Both parties were warned of their driving actions.

11:20 pm – 300 block North Service Rd – Wellbeing Check – The caller wanted a wellbeing check to be done on a family member. The subject was located, brought to cells and charged with breaching their court order.

12:26 am – 1200 block Main St N – Shoplifting – A suspect stole an item from an establishment. Surveillance video was reviewed, and the suspect was identified and will be charged with theft.

2:43 am – 1200 block Main St N – Suspicious Person – There were reports of someone sleeping outside of an establishment. The subject was located and sent on their way.

Police responded to four 911 calls.
Police responded to one parking bylaw infraction.
Police executed one warrant.
Police responded to one city after hour call.
