Moose Jaw Police responded to 25 calls for service.

9:38 am - 400 block Iroquois St W - Theft of Auto - Police got a report of a 1996 4-door green Toyota Camry being stolen the previous evening.

12:58 pm - 600 block 5th Ave NW – Dispute - Police attended to a verbal dispute between family members. The dispute was mediated and one subject packed his belongings and left.

3:49 pm - Thatcher Dr E and Main St N - Erratic Driving - Police got a complaint of an occupant in a Grey Ford Escape texting while driving. The occupant was located and spoken to.

4:29 pm - 400 block Langdon Crescent - Assistance to Sick Person – A family member called in regards to a sibling having a health issue not taking their medication. The subject was found and was in good health.

4:44 pm - 1300 block of 11th Ave NW - Suspicious Occurrence - Youth were reported playing hide and seek in an empty shed on a local school yard. The youth were located and were advised to stay out of the shed.

6:50 pm - 100 block of Iroquois St E - Fire Call - Police received a phone call for smoke and flames coming from a pot on fire on the stove. The fire caused minimal damage in the kitchen.

6:58 pm - 100 block Iroquois St E - Parking Bylaw – There was a report of an over-park. The tires were marked and a message was left for the owner.

8:40 pm - 1200 block Vaughn – Suspicious Occurrence – There was a report of hearing 3 to 4 gun shots in a period of 15 minutes. Police talked with neighbours and they reported they saw fireworks. No further action was required.

10:00 pm - 800 7th Ave NE - Dispute – a neighbour reported yelling between two people and was concerned for their safety. Police attended and everything was calm; they just had a verbal argument.

1:38 am – 1300 block Main St N – A subject was driving while suspended (vehicle was seized), was in possession of drugs, and had outstanding warrants.  The individual was held in cells for court in the morning. 

1:59 am – 1300 block Main St N – Breach Undertaking – A subject was out past court-ordered curfew.  They were arrested and released for a later court date.

Police executed six warrants.
Police assisted one other agency.
Police responded to one alarm call.
