Moose Jaw Police responded to 30 calls for service.
7:24 am – 1400 block Duffield St - Theft Under - Various items and money were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. No damage was done to the vehicle.
7:56 am - 1000 block 4th Ave SW - Abandoned Vehicle – A white Cadillac Escalade was found in a back alley. No damage was done to the vehicle and the owner was located and picked it up.
9:24 am - 400 block Thatcher Dr East - Unwanted Guest - Police received a complaint of a subject outside a local business loitering and taking his shoes on and off. The subject was identified and asked to leave the location.
12:26 pm - 300 block Main St N- Theft Under – A box of jewellery was stolen from the back of a store. Police are still investigating.
2:05 pm - 900 block of Fairford St W - Recovered Stolen Property – A complainant’s stolen vehicle was recovered by a business owner who found it parked in the middle of his yard. The vehicle will be brought into the station to be processed by ident.
3:13 pm - 800 block of MacDonald St - MVA Injury – A motor vehicle collision resulted in approximately $75,000 of damages and three injured persons.
3:28 pm – 900 block of High St W - Suspicious Occurrence – A red Chev Blazer abandoned at a local business with the keys on the dash showed up sometime Thursday evening. The vehicle was towed to the compound.
3:42 pm - 100 block Main St N - Theft Under – A subject entered the back of a business and stole 10 boxes of empty bottles. Police are still investigating.
6:10 pm - 1000 block Iroquois St W – Arson - Between 9PM and 5AM someone tried to start the back door of a house on fire, causing $500 in damages. Police are still investigating.
8:05 pm - 0 block Fairford St W - Police received a phone call of an intoxicated subject in the parking lot who was brought into cells and will be held until sober.
8:06 pm - 900 block Hall St W - Parking Bylaw - Police received an email regarding a trailer over-parked for 2 weeks. The owner was located and will move the trailer. The public is reminded that utility and work trailers are not allowed to be left unattached on a city street.
8:54 pm - 1600 block Main St N - Unwanted Guest – A subject refusing to leave a local business left prior to police arrival. No further action was required.
9:32 pm - 200 block of Saskatchewan St E - Intoxicated Person - Police received a call of a person lying on a front lawn. The subject was gone on arrival.
10:35 pm – 600 block Main St N – Intoxicated Person – There was a report of a youth who was very intoxicated on the sidewalk. They were located and turned over to a sober parent.
12:17 am – 3rd Av NW at Ross Cr – Robbery – An adult took money and clothing from another adult. The suspect is known, and this is still under investigation for charges. No injuries were reported.
2:52 am – 1200 block 9th Av NW – Armed Robbery – A subject entered a local business and demanded items from the business while brandishing a weapon. There were no injuries and this is still under investigation.
