Moose Jaw Police responded to 32 calls for service.

10:50 am – 700 Block Stadacona St W – Parking Bylaw – There was a report of a vehicle parked in the same spot for over a year. The plate number was obtained, and police are still investigating to speak to the registered owner.

10:58 am – 700 Block Stadacona St W – Parking Bylaw – There was a report of a vehicle blocking a driveway with the plate number obtained. Police contacted the registered owner, who immediately moved the vehicle. They were warned as per the complainant’s wishes.

2:01 pm – 1300 Block Main St N – MVC Over – There was a report of a two vehicle collision with no injuries. The damage was estimated at $2,000, and two tickets were issued for following too close and failing to exchange driver information.

2:08 pm – 1000 Block Clifton Ave – Landlord/Tenant Dispute – A landlord was seeking options regarding an incident, and options were given.

2:11 pm – 1700 Block Main St N – Hit and Run – The damage was estimated at less than $1,000. Police are still investigating.

2:27 pm – 800 Block 6th Ave NW – Stolen Auto – Stolen is a grey 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 bearing Saskatchewan plate KODUS. The vehicle was added to the national database and on-duty officers were advised.

3:43 pm – 800 Block MacDonald St – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime in the past couple hours an unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through. Parking meter change was taken, and this was reported for information purposes.

3:48 pm – 1100 Block Algoma Ave – Dispute – A dispute occurred between two subjects over Facebook. Police spoke with the complainant, and options were given.

10:34 pm – 1000 Block Willow Ave – Dispute – A verbal dispute occurred between two parties, and the dispute was mediated by police.

11:18 pm – 200 Block High St W – Suspicious Person – A person in the area was on a bike hanging out by some vehicles. No vehicles were entered and no damage was done. The area was searched for the subject, but they were not located.

1:18 am – 400 Block Moose Square – Disturbance – A disturbance occurred involving several people possibly regarding driving actions. The area was searched, but all subjects and associated vehicles had left the area.

2:51 am – 3rd Ave NE at Saskatchewan St E – Disturbance – A complainant called in, stating there was a disturbance out on the street. Police attended and located an intoxicated person sitting on the street. The subject was taken to a sober family member’s residence and was left in their care.

Police responded to four 911 calls.
Police assisted other government agencies in seven cases.
Police responded to one city after hours call.
Police responded to one alarm call.
