Moose Jaw Police responded to 40 calls for service.

8:23 am – 1200 block Clifton Ave – Parking Bylaw - Police attended to a car parked the wrong direction on the street. A ticket was issued for parking left side to the curb.

10:03 am - 200 block Thatcher Dr E- Recovered Stolen Property – A stolen vehicle was found parked between two trailers. The vehicle was seized for processing and this is still under investigation.

11:33 am - 1400 block 9th Ave NE- Fire Call - Police responded to a fire in a trailer. Careless smoking seemed to be the cause.  $80,000 damage was estimated. No injuries were caused as no one was home at the time.

12:27 pm - 0 block Flax Rd - Theft of Auto - Sometime overnight a Black Escalade was stolen.  The vehicle was later recovered in the city.  Police are still investigating.

2:02 pm – 1000 block 7th Av NE – Abandoned vehicles – Several vehicles and trailers were parked for long periods. All vehicles are parked on private property, and it was left to the property owner to deal with the vehicles.

4:24 pm - 0 block 1st Ave NW - Collision - Police responded to a two vehicle collision. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed. One ticket was issued for disobeying a stop sign.

5:17 pm - Trans Canada Highway - Assisted other Police Agency - Police assisted the RCMP with road closure and directing traffic.

9:42 pm - 800 block 4th Ave NW - Theft of Auto – A 97 Ford Explorer Forest Green was stolen, with the Saskatchewan license plate GCZ458. This matter is still under investigation.

11:48 pm - 1100 block Hochelega St W – Dispute - Police responded to a fight between two roommates. The situation was mediated and one subject agreed to leave. Police transported them to another location.

1:58 am – 1200 block 5th Av NW – Assist Sick Person – A friend was overreacted to intoxicated texting.  The subject was sleeping.

2:56 am – 1000 block Ross St E – 911 False – A subject made several calls to 911 regarding fears of “gang bangers” and “KKK” and “Colonial Violence.”  The subject decided to go to bed after police arrival.

5:25 am – 0 block Aster Cr – Assault – Youth were arguing over a video game.  No charges were wanted, and the complainant wished for the subject to be warned that they are no longer welcome.

5:48 am – 800 block Hochelaga St E – Breach Court Order – An anonymous tip was received about conditions not being followed.  Police checked on the subject and everything was fine.
