Moose Jaw Police responded to 42 calls for service.

9:24 am- 1400 block Hochelega St W - Firearms Amnesty Program – A gun and ammo were picked up.

9:55 am – 1200 11th Ave SW - Disturbance - Police received a complaint of neighbour throwing furniture off a deck. When they attended MJ housing was there cleaning an apartment out. No action was required.

2:00 pm – 400 block Trinity Lane – Assault – A caregiver was assaulted by a resident; charges may be pending.

2:08 pm – 300 block 2nd Ave NW - Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was noted as being parked for over 72 hours on the street with expired plates. The tires were marked and the owner was contacted to register the vehicle and get it moved.

3:01 pm – 800 block 5th Ave NW – Threats – A complainant called in about being threatened.  A statement was taken and police are still investigating.

5:02 pm - 1500 block Caribou St W – Dispute – A complainant called in about a subject sending threatening messages to a family.  They wished to speak to an officer about their options. No legal action was taken.

5:42 pm - 0 block Iroquois St E - Firearms Amnesty – Two guns were picked up for destruction.

6:12 pm - 0 block Hochelega St W - Hit and Run – A parking meter was hit and brought to the station. This is still under investigation and the City was notified of the damage.

7:11 pm - 1200 block Main St N - Intoxicated person - Police attended a local establishment for a subject stealing liquor and throwing and breaking glasses in the building. The subject was removed and will be held in cells until sober.

8:08 pm – 1300 block Irving Ave – Dispute – A complainant came into the police station to make a statement of inappropriate pictures showing up on social media accounts. This issue is still under investigation.

10:11 pm - 300 block Fairford St W – Disturbance – A complainant called in about a neighbour screaming and throwing stuff around. Police attended and the subjects were wrestling; it went too far and an altercation ensued before they settled down. No legal action was taken.

10:40 pm - 0 block Fairford St E – Collision - Police attended a two car collision and completed a name exchange. There was $2000 in damage and no injuries were reported.

11:29 pm - 300 block Fairford St W – Disturbance – There was a complaint of two adults fighting. One subject left before police arrival. Police are still investigating and charges are pending.

12:26 am - 1700 Main St N - Assist Mobile Crisis Unit – Four youth showed up at a local business asking for help and saying they were stranded. Social Services were contacted and transported all four to Regina. They will be turned over to Mobile Crisis.

Police issued two warrants.
Police assisted other police agencies in eight cases.
